Hungary

Here is a great poster i got when in Hungary playing with Rag Foundation some years ago, the reason its on the blog is because the poster is all ripped and beaten up and i have to throw it away. So for longevity's sake, it's good to put it on a server somewhere. Hope you like it.

Just a note

Looks like rain again! cool, the garden needs it, and so do the worms. I am currently awaiting my wormery, with Tiger worms no less. They are stripey and prowl the undergrowth. They also provide excellent security. Once it arrives i will no doubt post a picture of it. But not the worms, they are too shy. To wet your appetite i've included two piccies of the wormery that was delivered but broken. The worms were fine.

A LP Li'l Ridge Rider cowbell

I'm selling this as it has a little split above the right hand rivet. The company i bought it from sent me a new one. It sounds great on New Orleans funk grooves, i'll have to play one for the record one day. I hope no one thinks i am touting for offers on this, it is just something i had a picture of that is quite close to my heart today. god bye.

Hi world. it little presumptuous i guess but fuck it. Recorded some awesome dawson electric guitars last Friday with lovely David Godwin getting all Keef. Paul did some acoustic and lovely it was. A couple of piccies from that, also Andy Morse with Jon and Chris came over on the Sunday and recorded three tracks, they seem very pleased with them. Great vocal sound i must admit, ah Neumann!!

More Recording

Been recording with King of Despair weekend of 17th Feb, did 18 tracks of bass and drums, complaint from Gills (my neighbour) partner regarding the noise on Sunday pm, but the bass guitar (not Darren) was structually damaging!! but all bass done now. And it was well worth it, meaty meaty, great sound. Richard Jackson who has recorded Super Furries, The Automatic, The Caves plus many others did the engineering. Dai and Paul put down 6 tracks worth of electric guitar, so 12 more to go plus 18 tracks worth of vocals, acoustic guitar, cello, banjo, theremin, violin, keyboards etc etc. we should have a really good album at the end. perhaps even a double album! anyway here a some photos from that weekend.
Lovely!!
